Approach
I believe my role as a therapist is to serve as a guide and support, helping clients uncover their own insights and experiences rather than imposing direction.
Clinical Approach
My clinical practice is rooted in a humanistic and integrative approach, blending professional training, evidence-based practices, and personal life experiences to create a tailored and dynamic experience for each client.
Grounded in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), I draw on Gestalt Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Transpersonal Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address a variety of needs. My background in yoga, meditation, Buddhist practices and an interest in shamanic work informs my appreciation for the connection between mind, body, and spirit. By combining these diverse professional and personal life experiences, I provide practical, compassionate support to help clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful growth.
Throughout our work, the emphasis will always be on your individual needs and personal goals for therapy, ensuring that the process is meaningful and aligned with your aspirations.
Couples Therapy
My approach to couples therapy integrates attachment and differentiation, to address the unique needs of each couple, helping couples strengthen their bond while honoring individuality. Together, we explore effective communication, emotional attunement, and boundary-setting to resolve conflicts and deepen intimacy. Drawing from both scientific principles and personal life experience, I guide couples in developing a resilient partnership that fosters personal growth and shared goals.
Through this process, partners will:
Explore and address attachment patterns to build emotional security and closeness.
Promote healthy differentiation by respecting each other's boundaries and individual development.
Enhance communication skills to resolve conflicts and deepen intimacy.
Apply Emotionally Focused Therapy to identify and shift negative emotional patterns, fostering a safe and supportive connection.
Use Gestalt-based techniques to reflect on relational dynamics, cultivating mindfulness and presence in the moment.
By integrating these approaches, the therapy not only resolves current challenges but also equips couples with the tools to create lasting intimacy, mutual respect, and a thriving partnership.
